Laurel Mountains Rug Hooking School Held annually in June at the Four Points Sheraton North, Cranberry Twp., Pa.  Tapestry, Folk Art and Primitive technique taught in conjunction with the camp is a daylong rug exhibit held on Wednesday at the Armstrong Room in the hotel. Also there is a visitor’s day to view the classroom activities. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hooker’s Wood & Wool Hooker’s Wood & Wool Diva’s meet at 422 W. Central Street, Chippewa Falls, WI  54729-2250.

Weekly Hook-In’s take place on Tuesdays as follows:  1st & 3rd Tuesdays are afternoon Hook-In’s, from 1:30-4:30 and 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month are evening Hook-In’s, from 5:30-8:30, during Sept. through May.  If there is a 5th Tuesday in a month, there is no Hook-In and we do not have them during June through August.  Please call the night prior to Hook-Ins to confirm that we are meeting and haven’t cancelled this event for the week you would like to join us.  Bring your current project and receive inspiration galore as we gather in the Studio, where the coffeepot is always on, the chatter is never ending and new ideas flow continually from your fellow hookers! Woolley Hugs to each of you at McGown!
